FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    • Please give yourself sufficient traveling time to show up on your appointment on time.

    • Please bring a valid government-issued I.D. on the date of your appointment. Failure to provide I.D. will result in a loss of appointment and deposit.

    • I recommend you do not come on an empty stomach, dehydrated, or unrested especially if your tattoo will take a few hours. This will avoid you being light headed or dizzy at any point.

    • Please come with the desired area of the tattoo clean and shaved. Please shave with skin lubricant to avoid razor burns. Avoid wearing any lotions or scents on the area of the skin upon arrival of appointment.

    • Avoid prolonged sun exposure: dry or burnt/peeling skin can seriously interfere with the tattooing process

    • For intellectual property and copyright infringement purposes, I cannot share the custom designs via email.

    • I reserve enough time during your appointment to review your design and adjust it if needed before I tattoo it on you. You can also stop by the shop when I’m there to view it in person prior to your appointment.

    • All tattoos designs and placements are approved by client prior it being tattooed on the skin.

    • If you would like to clarify details of the project prior to your appointment, feel free to email me and schedule a consultation over a zoom call.

  • Please be on time for your appointment. Being late can impact your experience and be disruptive for every client coming after you. If you are running late, please notify me via email.

    If we need to finish the tattoo in another session due to your late arrival, please note there will be an additional deposit and booking fee at my minimum rate of $200/hr.

  • I understand that life happens. I require a 24 hours notice prior to rescheduling your appointment at no charge. I confirm your appointment through email prior to your reservation to allow sufficient time in making changes.

    • If the appointment is rescheduled in less than 24 hours, the deposit will be forfeited.

    • For your first appointment reschedule prior 24 hours, the deposit will be honored and held for the next rescheduled appointment.

    • After the first reschedule, an additional deposit is required to book the next appointment.

    • All deposits are non-refundable and go towards the total of your tattoo.

    • If it is your first tattoo with me, I require all new clients to sign a new client form.

    • We then review the tattoo design together and adjust it if needed before I tattoo it on you.

    • The tattoo stencil is then placed on your desired area. You will have time to look in the mirror to approve the placement.

    • We begin tattooing for the amount of time that was booked.

    • After your tattoo, you will receive an email with instructions on how to take care of your tattoo during the healing process.

  • Please come sober of alcohol and drugs that alter your perception and can influence the tattooing experience for you.

    I recommend avoiding any painkillers/aspirin 24 hours prior as it thins the blood.

  • I accept all major credit and debit cards as well as cash.

    Tips are not mandatory but are always appreciated. I accept tips by cash, cashapp, venmo, and zelle.

  • You can use numbing cream, I recommend you manage the application time correctly by reading the instructions with the numbing cream you use.

  • Yes! My tattoo needles are sterile and are discarded after each client into a sharps container for disposal. Ink, ointment and other materials such as shavers, paper towels, etc that are used on a client are all thrown out after each tattoo and and picked up by a medical waste company. Nothing that can cause cross contamination is reused. All work surfaces and equipment are all fully covered with single use disposable material and fully cleaned after tattooing. I pride myself on cleanliness and find setting up and breaking my station a honored ritual for myself.

  • ONLY WHEN LOCK DOWNS AND RESTRICTIONS ARE IN PLACE:

    Clients must come alone to there scheduled appointment. Only people receiving tattoos are allowed, No additional friends or guests are permitted during your appointment.

    All outside items must be sanitized upon entering the shop.

    It is required for you to wear a mask upon entering and during your appointment.

    No food or eating permitted. For long sessions over 6 hours, we can schedule a food break where you are required to eat outside the shop.

  • Yes, email me in advance to let me know how many people will be with you.

  • The deposit covers time spent drawing your tattoo art. Please make sure this is the final tattoo concept you are requesting before submitting a deposit. After the deposit has been submitted and you would like to change the tattoo to a brand new concept, it will result in a new quote reflecting the changes.

    • The deposit covers time spent on your custom tattoo art and reservation of the scheduled appointment.

  • I'm licensed as required by law with the City of New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene which requires me to pass a Blood borne Pathogens Infection Control Course for Tattoo Artists. I practice the standards set by State and Industry Law. I enjoy setting up and breaking my station as an honored ritual.

    • My station is thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and wrapped with a sterilization barrier before and after each session.

    • All needles and equipment are “single-use” and are properly discarded after each session.

    • Ink, ointment, and paper towels that are used on a client are all thrown out after each tattoo.

    • Nothing that can cause cross contamination is reused

    • I provide a detailed declaration of consent form for all clients to express any possible concerns and clauses. This form is required to be signed in order to receive the tattoo.

    • I strive to adapt to the needs of each client. Should there be any health concerns, I take the time to educate all clients before agreeing to the tattoo.

  • The pricing of a tattoo depends on the size, location and complexity of the design.

    Minimum Rate

    • My minimum rate for booking a tattoo is $200


    For medium to large scale tattoos, I offer by sessions until the tattoo is complete:

    • 4 Hour Sessions are $600

    • 6 hours Sessions are $1000 [Day Rate]

    • I do not copy other artist work line for line. For a custom tattoo, I will create a design for you following what has been submitted through the form or discussed through the consultation. If you are looking to get another artists design tattooed from me, please purchase a tattoo ticket from that artist.

  • Complications, allergies, infections, and inflammation are all possible risks even with the use of my hygiene policy. I strongly recommend consulting with a doctor and dermatologist to assess personal risks before scheduling an appointment. I provide an aftercare protocol that I strongly recommend all clients to maintain to ensure the best healing process for the tattoo. For any questions or concerns, kindly contact me.

    You cannot be tattooed if:

    • You have a sunburn or chemical burn on the desired area of tattoo

    • You are currently taking antibiotics or cortisone

    • You are pregnant

    • You have atopic dermatitis at the location of the tattoo
